With my name as my logo, I decided that it needed further development, I felt that it needed to inform what I am all about and what my name represents. Although my name was good way owning my designs I felt it needed to say what kind of designer I was.
I thought about whether I was a textile designer, surface pattern etc. but resulted in printed design because it best represents my strengths and style within textiles, although I work closely to surface pattern I would say I specialise in printed design. By including this it helps define what it is that I do and who I am and by keeping it within my handwriting it still allows me to have my stamp on products, designs etc.
With something like this, it would be easy to incorporate on tags for clothing, fabrics etc. with my handwriting used its like a design within itself and could be screen printed or digitally stitched if I was to develop this for products.
